“….I hate being alone….”
((I’LL TAKE THAT AS A QUEUE. ))
Feliciano gasped as he approached the woman silently, gently poking at her shoulder from behind. At this point he was almost close to tears. After staying with distant relatives in ‘hiding’…(mostly from her…and her family..), what would he say to her? How would she react?
“…..L-Luise?”
Luise blinked when she heard his voice, but didn’t bother turning around. She wasn’t actually hearing his voice right now…was she? She shook her head. No. It wasn’t him. It was her mind playing tricks on her again. She had to face facts…Feli was gone and he was never coming back. She had…screwed up too hard. She felt like this was all her fault… She closed her eyes again as her tears started to fall.
“Feli…I’m sorry…Please come back…”
His eyes went wide, pupils almost barely visible at her statement. He gulped quite loudly, before clearing his throat and kneeling down, placing his hands around her waist and spreading his feet around her. The young man then began pressing light, welcoming kisses to the back of her neck, cooing at her softly. “I-I’m back.”
She gasped before jolting away from him, pulling her gun and pointing it at him. It wasn’t really his fault. She had been on edge lately. It was just instinct. When she finally saw his face…She lowered her gun, gasping as she saw him. “F-Feli…?” She couldn’t believe it. He was…back. He was really back…right? This wasn’t a dream? She dropped her gun and rushed back over to him, pulling him in a tight hug. She couldn’t think of anything to say…Other than, “Ich Liebe Dich!”
The representation of Italy stumbled back in shock as she embraced him. He lowered his arms that were previously raised in a surrendering motion, just calmly enough to wrap her in his warmth without startling her again. As Feliciano pressed light, tender kisses to the female’s golden blonde locks. ‘This must be a hallucination. No way she would be this happy to see him.’ he thought to himself as he absent mindedly massaged small circles into her back.
“….A-Are you still..upset? Y-You know, with me? I k-know I messed up, s-so I ran away to give you t-time to cool down…i-it’s all my fault, isn’t it? W-Why would you ever wish to be with m-” before he could finish his last sentence, he gasped, thrusting a hand to his dropped jaw in mid-speech. That last part wasn’t supposed to be said aloud..
“Feli…Please don’t ever leave me again. I’ve been so alone without you…” She whispered, hiding her face in his shoulder. She was just so happy to be in his embrace again. She wanted to stay there forever and never leave his side. She wanted to stand there with him for eternity. “I want to be with you, Feli. Forever. I made a promise to you und I plan on keeping it. I will love you und stay with you forever. I promised I’d always be with you…I would never break a promise to the one I love.”
She looked down at him and gave him a soft smile. It had been forever since she had smiled like this. That’s because she hadn’t been happy in a while. “I could never stay mad at you, Feli…Even if you did hurt mein feelings und I was upset over it, I could never find it in mein herz to leave you. I never stopped thinking about you while you were gone…In fact, I was worried you still hated me…” She sighed softly before resting her head on his shoulder. She felt so calm now that he was back. She didn’t feel as uptight or stressed…
“S-Shh, sh... Mio caro, vorrei altro che passare il resto dell’eternità con voi. Mi dispiace tanto su eventi passati, vi preghiamo di accettare le mie scuse. Ti amo.” he chanted repetitively in his native tongue, combing his nimble digits through her hair. At these times, speaking in their languages to each-other was possibly the only way to clearly express their feelings..well, at least for him it was, anyways.
“I-I could never hate you…I was ashamed of myself the entire time I was away.” He paused, before tilting their faces to meet each-other. “M-May I…?” He didn’t even have to specify what he was asking permission for as his eyes glazed over, leaning in ever so slightly.
